Jared Paul Miller is an adaptable, resilient, and enthusiastic lawyer who joined Powell, Kugelman, & Postell, LLC in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for the Honorable Frances A. McGrogan, J.S.C., of the New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Division. He graduated from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2021 with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law. While at Drexel, he worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Paul Flanagan and a co-op intern for Wawa. Before going to law school, Jared received his B.A. from Juniata College in 2018 and completed the Global China Program at East China Normal University in Shanghai.
Jared is a published author who has co-authored Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Law: Risks and Mitigation and Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Law: A Compliance Guide for U.S. Federal, State, and Local Governments. He also co-authored Defensibility: Changing the Way Organisations Approach Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Law in the Singapore Academy of Law Journal Special Issue on Law and Technology. He is also an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Technologist and a Certified Information Privacy Professional in/the United States.
