Meghan V. Tomlinson is an experienced trial attorney who employs a strategic approach and thrives in analyzing complex, sensitive matters in high-pressure situations. Inside the courtroom, Ms. Tomlinson displays confidence and an ability to quickly pivot in the face of unexpected circumstances.

At Powell, Kugelman & Postell, Ms. Tomlinson focuses on insurance defense litigation. Prior to becoming Of Counsel with the firm, Ms. Tomlinson spent more than a decade working as an Assistant Prosecutor, where she prosecuted and led investigations into serious crimes. During her time as an Assistant Prosecutor, Ms. Tomlinson was selected to take on significant roles, including a leadership position in the Major Crimes Division, trying a federally recognized terrorist, training and educating members of law enforcement, and petitioning and arguing before the New Jersey Supreme Court, where she helped to create new law.

Ms. Tomlinson began her legal career as a Superior Court Law Clerk for the Honorable Patrick J. Roma. Following her clerkship, she worked an associate attorney in a boutique general practice handling a variety of civil, criminal, transactional, and local governance matters.
